My cousins, the Odie Brothers (Bodie and Kodie) arrived today from California. No wonder Mommis took us to the salon yesterday, even though we were just there. I know I’ve done a lot of swimming in the Steele Park and on the Biltmore Golf Course, but usually she doesn’t make me bathe every two weeks.
That’s Bo talking to Paunnie. They are catching up on things since we haven’t seen our cousins since September. Ko seems a little dazed by the trip, but once Mommis served lunch he revived.
And oh-by-the-way, Bluey’s here too. He’s having a sleepover. We will have five golden ringtrievers tonight for Christmas.
Most of the day I spend waiting. I especially hate it when Mommis drives into the driveway but doesn’t come into the house. Today she did that to me. She watered the whole front of the house while I was waiting for her to come in so I could clean her up.
I always have to clean her when she comes in from outside. I don’t know how she gets all those strange smells on her, but it takes me hours to get them off.
We have a special playmate. His name is Ed. We scream with happiness when he comes in the door, especially Paunnie. Sometimes he drives us to Half Moon Bay, and is he fast! With him, we make it much faster than with anyone else.
Ed sent us this instant replay of our last Tug of Ball game.
Know what we did? We got one of the big red Kong balls and found out that it would fit in both our mouths at the SAME TIME. We could play a game with it, which we called “tug of ball.” I guess it looks pretty funny from the human point of view, because there’s Uncle Ed’s hand in the foreground, and he’s trying to take a video of us playing our new game.
We had the funnest morning. We had Bluey for a sleepover, and then Mommis took us to the Biltmore Golf Course. When we left the house it was raining a little, but by the time we got there we saw it had been raining a lot over night. The golf course was flooded!!! We got to swim and run in the wa, and nobody was there.
When we got home, Mommis wouldn’t let us in her room up on her bed. She said we smelled like wet dog. She tried to towel us off, but we kept running away. Good thing she has concrete flooers.
