And why isn’t Bluey there? Uncle Dan looks like he needs help.
Mommis always says she’s a geek. She buys all these toys and sits around playing with them all day while I take my nap. Like her iPhone. he took pictures of us yesterday on her iPhone.
But she sucks at them. Especially the hardware ones. I like the hardware ones because I can take them into the backyard and play with them while she goes to Houston’s. Sometimes they taste good, too. Like the blue tooth headsets. I love them. Or the cameras.
She says she’s good at the software ones. I can’t see them. I don’t even know where the software is.
But Maddie’s daddy, Justin Crossman, is a real geek. He told me that you’re not supposed to eat hardware. He made this movie of us at the park yesterday, using his phone. Maddie does not eat her daddy’s phone, but I don’t know why not.
The dog park got irrigs again and it was so wet! All the dogs came in the Saturday group and we got to run around and play in the water. Afterwards Mommis had to hose me off, but I didn’t care. I had so much fun. That’s Bluey running out of the water, and I’m in there playing with Lucky and Madison. Mommis and her friends talk to each other while we play on Saturday morning. We are so lucky! (Did you know that my full name is Luckily Puppily Buppily Boo? I bet that’s why)
Now that Mommis is comfortable with her hip replacement, we’re doing all the same things we used to do. The desert is really blooming now, so we went on this two-hour hike.
This was to make up for the fact that we had to stay outside yesterday while the kitchen and the bathrooms are being painted. It smells bad. Mommis thinks I’m going to eat it. I won’t. I did eat half a box of chocolates yesterday and an apple. But they were on the kitchen table. Weren’t they for me?
There’s a gato in this pampas grass. I know there is. But this morning I made a big mistake. When we got out of the car from the dog park, I bolted for it. I thought I saw it out of the corner of my nose. But I had my leash on.
I got stuck in the plant and couldn’t get out. I flapped my arms wildly, and luckily Mommis heard me. She was scared, and the plant was too thick for her to go in, so she woke up Jerry, who lives with us temporarily while he and his fiancee
are saving for their own place.
I knew Jerry would drag me home by the collar, so I did my best to get out by myself. When he came, I was able to show him my face, so at least Mommis knew I was safe. I thought he would go away then. But he didn’t. He grabbed me by the collar and dragged me home.
And mommis says I’m on restrictions and she has threatened me with a Gentle Leader, or puppy school. Eeeek! I’m too old for puppy training. I was two on Friday.
So we went to the 3rd Street dog park this morning with Mommis, who had just come home from the place with the homeless dogs. 6th Street in Austin, where wasted youth (Mommis made this double entendre, not me) sit on the streets with their dogs. Mommis was sad for the dogs. One puppy had mange.
So when she came home she fell all over us with love. And took us to the dog park this morning. The irrigation was in the dog park, and we all ran through it. It was fun!!!
But then she took me home. And she made Jerry hose me off. So embarrassing to see what I look like without my fluffy fur. I can’t wait until I dry.
We had the funnest time today! Mommis took us to the dog park near where the high school kids play baseball. I guess somebody hit it out of the park, or maybe it was into OUR park. Anyway Paunnie found two baseballs and he couldn’t carry them both in his mouth so I got one.
They taste good, those baseballs. Paunnie took his apart, but I just carried mine around. One of the bes toys I have ever found.
That’s not me with my tongue hanging out in that embarrassing fashion. That’s Paunnie.
The bad news: Mommis has that yellow suitcase out again and she put all my favorite bras in it. The ones I like to play with in the yard. She’s going to Austin tomorrow.
